What Sets Us Apart
We’re With You From A-Z
Consultation
In the business of custom signage, every project has its own unique requirements. The process starts with a consultation with one of our team. We make contact, then hear your needs. We can also advise on what signage would serve you and your budget. We can then take photos and measurements and start designing your new sign.
In-House Design
Universal Sign Group’s end-to-end process starts with our in-house design team. Having our designers on site means a smoother, faster and more personalized experience for you. We collaborate with you every step of the way to turn your vision into high-quality, eye-catching signage that makes a lasting impact. Because our designers work directly with our production team, your project moves seamlessly from concept to completion without delays or miscommunications. Need changes or revisions? We can make them quickly, keeping your project on track. Our team also ensures that your branding remains consistent and professional across all signage, giving your business a polished and cohesive look. Plus, with our expertise in the latest trends, materials and technology, we can create innovative designs tailored specifically to your needs.
In-House Fabrication
With Universal Sign Group’s in-house fabrication, you receive the highest quality custom signage, fastest turnaround times and the most reliable processes from start to finish. Because we manufacture everything ourselves, we have complete control over the materials, craftsmanship and production timeline, ensuring your sign meets the highest standards. There is no need to wait on third-party vendors, which means fewer delays and a quicker installation. If adjustments are needed, we can make them right away, keeping your project on schedule.
With our in-house fabrication team, your sign is built exactly to your specifications – no settling for generic, mass-produced options. We can customize every detail, from materials and finishes to unique shapes and lighting. You are not limited to standard sizes or designs, and we’re not reliant on imported, low-quality, pre-made components. Instead, we use high-quality, locally sourced materials and precision craftsmanship to create signage that looks great and is built to last.
In-House Installation
With our in-house installation team, you can trust that the sign we’ve crafted for you will be installed with the same level of care and attention to detail. Since we’ve designed and built your sign ourselves, our installers have an intimate understanding of its structure, materials and unique features, ensuring a flawlessly executed installation.
Our installers bring decades of experience to every project, and their expertise ensures that your signage is installed with the highest level of professionalism and precision. Each member of our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards. They are all certified Sign Service Installation Technicians (SSIT) by the Alberta Sign Association (ASA) and are SafeContractor™ certified which means they meet rigorous safety requirements, ensuring your peace of mind on site for every installation.
We have a fleet of crane trucks, bucket trucks, service vans & flat deck trailers, allowing our team to handle even the most complex or oversized signage with ease. We take the safety and reliability of our equipment seriously, ensuring that all of our trucks, tools and installation machinery are regularly inspected, properly maintained and fully certified, so you can trust that every aspect of your project is handled with the utmost care.
As part of our end-to-end process, we even take care of any road closures or sidewalk permits needed for installation, so you don’t have to worry about a thing on the big day.
